What Do You Think Wackus Bonkus TikTok? Meme and Origin

“What do you think Wackus Bonkus” is originally a clip from the television show, Horrible History.

TikTok user @ev1em0 used the clip and its dialogue as a meme on TikTok, which has since become popular on the video-sharing platform.

In the show, Wackus Bonkus is the name of hammer-shaped equipment. The particular clip shows the person yielding the equipment ask “What do you think Wackus Bonkus?”

The hammer then turns toward the character and answers “Kill Him” in a mocking voice. The character replies, “Ooo, you naughty Wankus Bonkus.”

@ev1em0 posted the video as a reply to fellow TikTok content creator @lkycly who has the dialogue as his TikTok bio.

Moreover, the video has gained more than 3.1 million views, 562.9K likes, and 4,355 comments on the platform.

TikTok Fans Response To The Wackus Bonkus Trend

TikTok users have gone crazy with the “What do you think Wackus Bonkus” trend, adding their own little creativity to it.

The users put in little subtitles and text in the video before lipsyncing to the viral dialogue. The text gives another but funnier meaning to the video.

For instance, one user’s video reads, “what should I do before I clock off, ass?” while lip-syncing to the Wackus Bonkus dialogue.

Instead of the hammer that was in the original clip, the user is talking with their hand i.e. the hand is the said Wackus Bonkus.

Wackus Bonkus replies, Kill him, but the subtitle in the video reads, “blow up the bathroom before you leave.”

The hashtag #wackusbonkus has already gained over 10.6 million views on TikTok.
